Dreaming of a Heart Lake Christmas

2022

When sparks start flying, these total opposites discover Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. To raise enough money to start her own business, Nola Bennett needs to sell “The Castle,” her beloved grandmother’s historic house, and get back home to the city. But Heart Lake’s most eligible bachelor is insisting she hang on to the property. He may be one of the hottest, grumpiest men she’s ever seen, but Nola has no time to pine over her high school crush. All woodworker Tanner Dean wants for Christmas is some peace and quiet, but that’s not going to happen with infuriating, irresistible Nola Bennett back in town. How can he persuade her to keep The Castle out of the hands of greedy developers when sizzling attraction flares every time they’re together? And the more time he spends with Nola, the harder it becomes to picture a future without her—unless he can convince her, once and for all, that Heart Lake is exactly where she belongs.

A grumpy single dad and a small-town bookseller find love again in this charming contemporary romance in Sarah Robinson’s Heart Lake series. As chaotic as it gets, Rosie Dean loves her unruly life. Even though Evan has grown into a huge grump, he’s still a super sexy one, and sparks begin to fly... Single dad and widower Evan Mills is used to hearing he’s too serious—even grouchy! But with a grieving tween daughter to raise on his own, the graphic designer is just trying to stay strong for her. He hopes a few weeks at the lake will be the fresh start they both need. But Evan never anticipated reconnecting with Rosie, or that she could make him feel whole again...if he’d give her the chance. Will one steamy summer with Rosie be long enough to melt Evan’s heart?

Sunflower Cottage on Heart Lake

2024

This third charming contemporary romance in the Heart Lake series will be perfect for readers of Sheila Roberts and Debbie Mason. On the outside, Amanda Riverswood has it all: a fun career in interior design, a lakeside cottage in her Michigan hometown, and a close-knit group of friends. But she's thirty-two-years old and—despite her seemingly outgoing persona—has never had a boyfriend. So this summer, Amanda decides she's going to rip the Band-Aid off and go on a bunch of blind dates. As one of professional baseball’s star pitchers, Dominic Gage was on top of the world—until a detached retina sent him into early retirement. Not long afterward, his wife walked out of their marriage. Now, at an all-time low, he’s learning to settle into his new life in the small town of Heart Lake. His plan for the summer is sitting on his dock reading, napping, and not talking to anyone, especially not the cute, exasperatingly chipper girl next door. But when Dom accidentally damages her dock and offers to fix it, he gets into a habit of eavesdropping on her hilarious series of dates. As they begin to bond over late night laughter and conversations following Amanda's failed dating attempts, it's not long before there's more than friendship between them. Could a casual fling between neighbors be what they both need to get over their issues or will it only risk their hearts?
