Our understanding of the world may be limited by the societal norms and expectations that we have been taught to live by. It takes a strong leader to break away from these learned behaviors and pursue their own path. Have the courage to follow your heart and ignore those who are too afraid to do the same. Regardless of whether you believe in an afterlife, it's important to make the most of your time here on Earth. You're bound for Hell either way. —- They say I’m delusional... They say I have hysteria... And they say the visions I have are a figment of my imagination... When I encounter the one tree I've been warned to stay away from, even I begin to wonder what's real and what's fiction. And it's only when I fall down the hole at the base of the tree I realize the legends are true, and I’ve entered the furthest pits of Hell. As I’m found by a lord of hell, I know not everything is as it seems. I don't know if his honeyed words are a fever dream or if this is as real as the world I once knew, but my time in the sanitarium has taught me to be wary of things too good to be true. My fate is tied to Zistran and the demons at his command. Either he will be my Salvation... or Damnnation.

B. J. Rysewyk lives in Wisconsin and has a degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin: Oshkosh. She lives with her cats, Dean and Wall-E, and works as a caregiver with special adults. When Becca Jo isn’t working, she and Dean spend their days reading, writing, and napping (because naps are life). She developed her love for reading after a childhood friend forced her to read "Twilight," sending her into a reading spiral that she’s never and chooses to never recover from. Around that same year, Becca Jo realized her passion for writing and storytelling, choosing to express it by means of writing her first novel, written roleplays, and poems. 14-years later, B. J. Rysewyk is publishing her debut novel, A Widow’s Web, and has no plans of stopping any time soon.
