I was supposed to die and go to heaven, too bad I ended up in hell. One out of every five people end up in heaven, that's how low the chances are. So I worked hard, never swore, and did my best to be a good girl for my entire life. Then, out of nowhere, I was hit by an oncoming car, cutting my life short at age twenty-five. Next thing I know I'm waking up in the firey pits of hell and given a scythe. My new job is to help reap the souls and take them to judgement day. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, it would be if I was a normal reaper. . . but the moment I touched the scythe it began to glow, signaling just how talented I'm going to be. Now, the three ruling princes of hell all want me as their personal reaper. So these days I've been thinking. . . What's the use in being good when it's so fun to be bad?

If God thinks he can keep me from my demon princes he has another thing coming. I've woken up in Heaven as I wanted when I first passed, but it's definitely not what I want now. Jehovah—or God as most know him—is holding me captive for more reasons than one. To mock and hurt Lucifer, stop his sons from falling in love with me, and to cause general chaos between the three realms. A war brews right over the horizon as I fight against my feelings for Jehovah and dive back to where I belong. . . with my demons. Not only will this affect Heaven and Hell but also the human world. As a prophecy unfolds, enemies turn to friends, and bonds become stronger all I can think is that the fight between good and evil is a lot more complicated than it seems. That, paired with my training, makes everything feel impossible to carry. Will I be strong enough to stop my own prophecy before it destroys Heaven and Hell alike?

Lucifer, God, and I walk into a room... There's no joke, well, not really. After Heaven fell to Earth in a blaze of shattering glory we're all left living in Hell. Not only that, we have to work together as the final pieces of my prophecy begin to fall into place. . . but the reality is much different from theory. The angels and demons are at each other's throats, both in normal society and in our own home.
