Although I've gained the throne and the Flame, it doesn't replace the heartache left in devastation's wake. I've lost people that I loved and the place that I called home. But I have no time to mourn. As the first human ever to possess the Flame, I'm at a severe disadvantage and the clock is ticking. If I can't figure this out fast, I'm likely to be the next name added to an ever-increasing death toll staking up around me. With an unknown enemy, power I can't control, and the sense of loss that threatens to crush me, a storm is beginning to brew. And I'm not sure if I'll survive this one.
