Not Quite a Prince

2021

Mirror, mirror on the wall, Will this man be My downfall? I have one last party to host at my aunt’s bed and breakfast before I go back to my day job. Unfortunately, Fate has decided to twist the week into one of my television productions. 1-My rival, the Prince of Television, walks in. 2-His shorts leave his well-defined calf muscles horribly exposed. 3-Only one room in the place has reliable Wi-Fi. 4-He makes fun of the love triangle in my latest show. 5-I fight back with snide remarks about his train-wreck of a season finale. Cue the laugh track. What? No. Of course I’m not flirting with him. He’s the enemy. Tune in as Gwen and Royce star in their own romantic comedy. It could be cancelled after the pilot episode or be renewed for a second season!

Not Quite a Princess

2021

I didn’t mean to fall for the guy Bosses are supposed to be boring This one…not so much. Mistakes were made. First, I grossly underestimated the stubbornness of an old woman. My lack of professional editing experience doesn’t mean I can’t write a killer television script for her most popular book series. The story is close to my heart, shouldn’t that be enough? Apparently not. Time to get a job that will give me some editing creds. Second, in hindsight it may not have been the wisest choice to accept Dakota Jones’ offer to work with him. Who knew that keeping things professional between us would be pretty much impossible? Anyone can see how tall, dark, and handsome he is. What catches me by surprise is his rugged charm and epic…niceness. I’m talking Montana nice. Third, I should have asked what his favorite movie was before I sat down in the office. If he quotes Princess Bride to me one more time I might be in trouble. Fourth, wearing a white blouse to a not-date dinner in the dark is a bad idea. Will Winifred and Dakota find their happily ever after before their wicked witch of a supervisor ruins their lives, or will they let the proverbial pea under the mattress keep them apart? Find out in this modern-day Princess and the Pea retelling.

In this story He’s the Beauty And I’m the Beast What do people say, whatever can go wrong will? I had everything worked out for this extremely lucrative project. People, equipment, the timetable…then someone’s mom has to break a leg and I’m left scrambling. There’s a reason I’m the best, and that’s because even when the world falls apart I still get things done. Unfortunately, getting this project finished is going to require none other than Tanner Williams. The one voice actor I swore I’d never work with again. Not because he’s difficult to work with—that would be me—but because he’s handsome, kind, and worst of all, seems to think there’s more to me than meets the eye. There is, but I’m not ready to let him or anyone else in on my secret. It takes the guy a grand total of ten seconds to worm his way under my skin and into my heart. How am I going to hold myself together for another three weeks without succumbing to his adorable charm? Will Tanner get through Leona’s defenses before their time together is up, or will they go their separate ways without resolving their feelings?
