A passionate reader since little, Herdiana can never stay away from great books. That's why she chose to study English Literature and Psychology in Universitas Indonesia. Since 2006, she has delved into the magnificent world of journalism and written dozens of articles for Reader's Digest, Cleo, and Femina. Herdiana is currently doing a PhD in Education (Children's Literature and Literacies), University of Glasgow, fully-funded by LPDP. She also manages www.sikancil.org. Kota Lama & Sepotong Cerita Cinta is her debut novel.
