Emily Haskins has it all. She’s a marketer for one of New York City’s leading advertising firms, but she’s a workaholic, so when her free-spirited mother begs her to take time off to accompany her to Mountain Ridge Resort in Virginia, Emily reluctantly agrees. However, when they get there, her mom’s boyfriend shows up, and Emily starts to see that this trip was really a way for her mom to get a free vacay for her and her latest fling. Disgruntled, Emily’s mother-daughter bonding vacay is suddenly a solo affair. Emily has booked two weeks off for rest and relaxation, though, so she’s determined to try to make the best of the situation. She’s going to put herself out there and try things she’s never done before—like horseback riding. But when the charming cowboy of a riding instructor sets his sights on her, she might get more of a ride than she bargained for.
