She was born in Philadelphia, PA, her mother was born in Bogota, Colombia, her father in Naples, Italy. She loves language, is fluent in Spanish and English, and has studied French and Portuguese. She is an enthusiastic traveler, and has seen much of Europe, North and South America. Before becoming a mother, Victoria worked as a travel agent and later as an airlines reservations agent. When her two daughters were babies, she did part-time modeling and acted in several television commercials. Victoria loves writing romance fiction because the satisfying resolution of conflict appeals to her optimistic nature. She describes her heroes as “strong, compelling men who develop a tender spot for dynamic heroines.” She enjoys setting her books in various locales such as the tropical ambiance of Miami and South Beach and the mystical beauty of the Scottish Highlands.
