Part of Series

For recently divorced Flick, the idea of dating again couldn't be further from her mind. Instead, all her focus is ensuring her daughter Evie is as happy as possible, and finally realising her own dream of working in photography. But when Flick pulls out all the stops to throw Evie an unforgettable birthday bash, she inadvertently conjures more than she expected in the form of Amazing Alex—an irresistibly charming young magician hired to entertain the kids. At first glance, their connection isn't exactly magic, besides, he’s twelve years her junior. Yet, when Alex extends an enticing offer for Flick to showcase her photography skills, she cautiously accepts his dinner invitation, if only to ‘to get back into the swing of dating again’. Little does she know that Alex is hiding more than just a few sleight-of-hand card tricks up his sleeve. As her feelings for him begin to blossom, doubt creeps in. Alex's erratic behaviour forces Flick to question his loyalty, casting a shadow of suspicion over her once-clear judgment. Will the love story they've begun to weave vanish in a puff of smoke, or can they rekindle the magic that first brought them together?Join Flick and Alex in this delightfully wholesome and heart-warming romance that reminds us that, sometimes, love itself is the most extraordinary magic of all.
