Indigo Halverson started her writing journey with editorials for her highschool newspaper winning Outstanding Editorial from the American Scholastic Press Association, Scholastic Newspaper Awards in 2013. She was a staff writer for a comedy sketch group in 2015. In addition to becoming editor-in-chief of her undergrad college newspaper in 2017, she also graduated with her BA in Photography from Whittier College and achieved her MS in Advertising in 2019 from Syracuse University. She returned to her childhood pastime of fiction writing in 2025 with her first short story, "The Demons on Bunker Hill" featured in Dread Coast Socal Horror Tales. She has a lifelong obsession with all things horror. When not writing, she spends her time drinking coffee, watching movies with her husband, and cuddling her three cats, Reaper, Mogwai, and Goblin.
