Do you have a passion for writing but not sure where to start? This book aims to give you all the information you need to not only get writing but publish your work too. The book was first written in 2016. It was a time in Matt Shaw's career where he had been writing as a full-time profession for a number of years. Seeing other passionate people struggling, he wanted to help and - according to the reviews - he succeeded! Fast forward to 2023 and his thoughts and experiences have changed. Furthermore, he's learned more ways to continue pushing his career forward and - as a side gig - he has even started teaching classes, on a one to one basis. With that in mind, now was a good a time as any to re-release this book. All the content from the 2016 version of the book is present but he has added additional notes along the way. He has also gone into a lot more detail with writing tips and ventured into new areas not previously explored in the first edition... With so many tips and tricks to learn, there really is no excuse not to kick-start your writing career!

Biography MATT SHAW was born, quite by accident (his mother tripped, he shot out) September 30th 1980 in Winchester hospital where he was immediately placed on the baby ward and EBay. Some twelve years later (wandering the corridors of the hospital and playing with road kill when he was on day release), the listing closed and he remained unsold, he was booted out of the hospital to start his life as a writer and hobbit – beginning with writing screenplays and short stories for his own amusement before finally getting published when he was twenty-seven years and forty-five seconds old. Once Published weekly in a lad's magazine with his photography work, Matt Shaw is also a published author and cartoonist. Has to be said, can be a bit of a flirt and definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, somewhat of a klutz. Favourite books "Roald Dahl's Collection of Short Stories" Tim Burton's Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy Anything, really, written by himself. Because he is that good.
