Sweat formed on my brow and the palms of my hands as I drove along the winding coastal road. I tried to check the car's speed, but it raced on of it's own volition. In a flash, I knew what had happened. Someone had fixed the brakes! In only minutes the car would fly out over the water and I would plunge to my death.
