Librarian Note: Also writes as Jeff Jones My latest novel, "A call to arms", the first book in a new heroic fantasy series called The Fractured Kingdom, has just been released in time for Christmas 2018. It is available in both paperback and on Kindle. I am also the author of the heroic fantasy series "The Chronicles of Arkadia", the horror anthology "Tales of terror for a dark night" and over 140 short stories, many of which have appeared in anthologies published by Static Movement, Horrified Press and Thirteen O'clock Press. I live in the East of England with my wife and two grown-up children and when I'm not writing or working as an editor/proofreader, I can usually be found walking my over-active Border Collie who loves playing Frisbee despite the cliche... or the weather. I grew up on a diet of James Herbert and Stephen King books, before moving onto the fantasy genre and consuming everything written by the wonderfully talented David Gemmell and David Eddings. Now I tend to read historical fiction by people like Cornwell, Kane, Riches and Iggulden. My admiration for Herbert's and King's work probably explains why the vast majority of the short stories that I've written, are rooted firmly in the ghost/horror genre. Thanks for stopping by to learn a little more about me and don't forget to call back from time to time to see what project I'm working on next. www.jeffajones.blogspot.co.uk www.facebook.com/pages/Jeff-Jones-Author
