Kokoelman tarinoissa ruumiineritteet lentävät, seksuaaliset perversiot nousevat pintaan, musta huumori kasvattaa tummimmat kukkansa ja pinnan alla kytee voimakas viha vallitsevaa yhteiskuntajärjestystä kohtaan. Nyrkinisku suoraan vasten sovinnaisuuden kasvoja.

He has four books to his own name, Sata kummaa kertomusta (A Hundred Weird Tales), Tähtiviima (Star Breeze), Kirja tulee kirjan luo (A Book Comes to a Book) and Sadanpäämies (Centurion). Nina Korento lives at the old city of Turku, Finland. Within her green colored walls are goblins, fairies, venetian masks and broken clocks. Her last name means "the dragonfly" in finnish, which suits well into the world of her fairytales and horror stories. She is currently writing two bigger novels in finnish and dreams of publishing them also in english. The first one tells about Elliot the angel of Armageddon and the other is about the waterlings of Ahtola.

Writer, translator, editor, poet, poor; I love all things speculative and strange. A humanist at heart, I'm endlessly fascinated by the stories this world is built on. I'm passionate about history, languages and queer representation as well as cyberpunk fairies and ships of any kind. My prose and poems have been published in Finnish anthologies and magazines as well as in English. The short stories "Wither and Blossom" and "Children of the Endless Sea" have been published in Strange Horizons / Samovar (also in podcast format). "Thief of Hearts" was published in the Cosmos Pen magazine (Kosmoskynä, English Special Edition 2017). My blog Paperiaaveet is mostly in Finnish, currently focusing on book reviews and translation. I may post in English every now and then if the topic is of interest to international readers. Mostly I go on about literature of questionable quality but extreme entertainment value. I'm sporadically working on my first novel which may or may not see the light of day. It's supposed to be a post-apocalyptic alternative history coming of age tale. I'm in it for the near-death experiences. NaNoWriMo has helped me overcome many blocks, and I try to participate in the camps and main events anytime I can.
