From D.M. Haggard comes “Jake Texas Justice” containing two of his most popular Texas Ranger novels. Ride with a tough Texan Ranger, ready your gun and ride like hell as you mount up to hit the trails with Jake Walker. In the first book follow Texas Ranger, Jake Walker, as he is pursued by an Apache intent on avenging his brother’s death. A shadowy figure watches the chase from afar—a figure who will play a prominent role in this adventure. Filled with twists, turns and surprises—this adventure is one that will set man against man, and man against the rugged terrain of the Old West. In the end, will it take a bond between three men to overcome a greater adversity than revenge? In the second book notorious bank and train robber, Tom “Black Jack” Ketchum and his gang of outlaws, band together with two ruthless brothers from Del Rio to take over a small West Texas town. Unfortunately, for the outlaws, there is a Texas Ranger nearby who dispenses his harsh and deadly justice like a hangman’s noose. Jake Walker, Texas Ranger, is asked to replace the town’s ambushed sheriff and bring back law and justice to the town. The outlaws hire a deadly gunslinger and assassin to ambush Walker. Jake Walker calls on his Texas Ranger friends, and the killing skills of one close to him, in order to combat these ruthless killers. This story is set in the late years of the nineteenth century about ruthless men who allow their greed for silver, gold, and land to push aside all traces of mercy and compassion. If you like the great Western writing of Robert Hanlon, Paul L. Thompson and William H. Joiner, Jr. —you’ll love this new adventure from D.M. Haggard. Grab your copy today!

D. M. Haggard, aka D. M. Horridge, was born in Texas, raised on cactus, dust, and a strong family. When I was very young, I would visit my uncle's farm in San Antonio and work side by side with my seven cousins baling hay, swimming in a round cow trough, and hunting rattlesnakes. I've hunted and fished all over the United States, and have worked like a trojan on my own ranch in Texas. I've written short stories and professional articles for a variety of marketing and professional magazines, but only recently started writing western adventure stories. I like learning about the real characters of western history and use them in a fictional way. I feel like I am preserving their memory and the heritage they left for us over time. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife of 55 years, two terrific children, and a million friends. I try to leave a message in every book that says to the reader, "we are all part of this world of ours and we need to work together to keep it from falling apart." My family is the most important part of my life. I have also been blessed with four fabulous grandchildren and two spouses of our children who have brought a wonderful depth to our family and extended family. One of my favorite subjects is the Texas Rangers, a group of tough, honorable, and law-abiding men and women. Only recently I have begun a series of children's books named "The Amazing Adventures of Two Boys." They represent many of the stories my father told to my brother and me as children. Always exciting, but not frightening, they give me great pleasure to write and publish on Amazon under my father's name, Don Horridge, and my name D. M. Horridge. All of the proceeds from these children's books are donated to children's ministries throughout the world. Thanks for listening.
