For me there is no greater pleasure than getting swept up in the beauty, action and romance of another era.” Janis Linford is an award-winning historical romance author. Her book An Unexpected Companion, part of The Nest of Spies Series, won the RWAust Historical Romance Book of the Year 2021. She's also been an RWAust 2017 Emerald Finalist and won the Missouri Chapter Historical Romance Book 2016. She writes Regency stories with spirited heroines and heroes, thrown together with plenty of exciting action. The first book in her new series "The Collectors Club" will release in 2022. She grew up studying computer science and interior design but found herself gravitating to reading and writing. Besides romance, she also loves fantasy novels, oil painting, Pilates and trying to perfect the best chocolate cake ever (it has to be ultra chocolaty). She lives in Melbourne, Australia where she spends time writing, caring for her husband, three adult children and a large garden full of maples and roses.
