Jared K Chapman is an author, filmmaker, and educator–a mostly native Californian who spent their formative years at school in frigid Alberta, Canada with their father and summer vacation in arid central California with their mother–who overcame adversities to achieve academic success as a Ronald McNair and Sally Casanova scholar, Hearst/CSU Trustees award winner, double-major in psychology & religious studies, and Ph.D. candidate, researching the social psychology of extreme groups, and currently living in a little oasis just east of Los Angeles with wife, Heather, and their three sons.
