Jay Robin grew up in Somerset, England, where she spent much of her youth attempting to be dark and tragic. Due to a maddeningly supportive group of friends and family she has since resorted to being grudgingly cheerful. She loves stories of any kind and considers writing her main pursuit, though she also enjoys dressmaking, pole dancing and playing the ukulele.
