What would you do when the same woman who has been a very kind foster mother to you confesses to be the one who killed your parents as sacrifice for her own self preservation and made you an orphan since the day you were born? A revelation of such great magnitude can give birth to a lifetime of hate and animosity. But being an orphan since birth and discovering that the woman who made her so is the same one she has spent every day of her life under her protection isn't the biggest predicament facing Annatu. She finds herself in a very precarious situation where she is compelled to choose between five unacceptable suitors within a specified period of time. Failing to do so would result in a catastrophic consequence. Among the five suitors A coward, A Stranger she knows nothing about, A Prince who is a renowned Casanova, an imbecile cursed with a hunch back, and a rich and ugly polygamist who has the ambition of marrying hundreds of women. But how can Annatu bring herself to work with the killer of her parents in order to fulfill her destiny?
