She melted my cold heart. Showed my body what it craved. Now, she carries my unborn child, and I ran away. I ran. But not for the reason she thinks… Sam Life has a way of biting you in the ass when you least expect it. Now it’s my turn to feel the chomp of karma’s teeth… My oldest daughter is sick. My old lady is pregnant. I have a habit of running away from being a father. Stepping up as a ‘dad’ and settling down was never in my game plan. I vowed that with her things will be different. Promised I’d take care of her like no other man could. But it isn’t that simple… In this life, fate likes to strike twice. A shared connection comes to light, A connection that could cost the woman who carries my baby, her life. She may think I’ve given up on her and this baby, but I never will. I’ll do everything in my power to protect what’s mine. When both my past and future come back to bite me, will fate finally get me or will sinister darkness destroy the woman I love?

Taken from one of her books: I live in a small town in Wisconsin. From my deck, I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits. I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.
