As four high school students from very different backgrounds work to produce their own cable television show, they must deal with personal problems, developing friendships, and a misunderstanding that nearly leads to tragedy.

ROCK 'N' ROLL —- AND ROMANCE! Summer's almost over, and it looks like the student-run programming on KSS-TV may be finished, too. Then station manager Drew Pearson tries to save the kids' jobs by putting together a spectacular end-summer rock concert. But in the excitement of planning the star-studded concert, summer romances begin to self-destruct. College-minded Keera doesn't have time for school and Jamar. But Jamar thinks love should come first. Was he wrong about Keera after all? Hero and Amanda have been a hot couple since the Fourth of July. But Hero feels uncomfortable around Amanda's rich friends, especially when her "best friend" Samantha snuggles up to Hero every chance she gets! Will summer's end mean good-bye to romance?
