Susan and Dale Tucker have been invited to spend the weekend with their daughter’s fiancé’s parents – the aristocratic Lord and Lady Farrell-Hawke – at their country estate in the wilds of Scotland. Two families, from vastly different class backgrounds, getting to know each other in an isolated mansion with acres of land, where hunting, fishing, fine dining and parlour games are the order of the day… Susan was warned that the Farrell-Hawkes were a tad eccentric, but nothing prepares her for the reality of what she and Dale find at Langdon Manor. This is an extreme horror novel. It contains some scenes that readers may find upsetting.
