
Megan Chesterfield decides on impulse to apply for a marketing position with a family owned minor league baseball team. Unknown to the owner, she is the daughter of a famous MLB pitcher. She interviews and surprisingly gets the position. Megan is immediately attracted to the owner's son, Gabe Williams, who is a widower with two cute kids. Megan and Gabe butt heads when she approaches him to assist with a pitcher’s rehab. But, Gabe’s 12-year-old son makes him see what an idiot he is for dismissing Megan’s proposal. Slowly these two wounded hearts fall in love and Megan begins to realize what her life is missing as she becomes part of the extended family. Unfortunately, Megan carries around guilt over her dad’s untimely death. She is torn between the chance for a lasting love with Gabe and his kids or for the chance to redeem her dad’s legacy. Megan makes the difficult decision to try to clear her dad’s name. Time apart provides Megan some perspective on what is truly important in life. Will Megan find her happily ever after?
