Lelani Black was born and raised in the tropics and spent many lazy days on island beaches sunbathing. She met her mis-match at a club in Waikiki, Hawaii and they’ve been making beautiful loud music ever since. While she and her husband live in the beautiful Rockies, Lelani and her family go home to the Hawaiian islands to visit her family every chance they get. **Important Notice** On July 20th, 2015, someone uploaded a 16 page book titled Claiming Her Best Friend's Son on to Amazon's self-publishing platform and used my name, Lelani Black, as the author in a manner un-authorized by me, my publisher, or my associates. I have had nothing to do with the writing, upload, sales and proceeds, marketing or anything else to do with this title. This individual infringed on copyrighted work by impersonating me as the author for commercial gain. In this day and age of digital and internet access, this person was aware that my name, identity and brand was already bundled and established onto copyrighted works of fiction. The cover art of this book copied nuance and style of my existing covers. Amazon's legal department has since been notified of the impersonation, fraud and copyright infringement issues. Their legal department upheld my rights. This book has been removed from sale. Goodreads has also followed suit in removing advertisement of this title that names me as the author of a book I did NOT write. If you or anyone you know purchased this title under the impression that it was written by me, please bring it to Amazon's attention. Thank you for understanding the seriousness of this matter. If someone can try to steal an author's identity, use a copycat cover on a story while trying to collect royalties they are NOT entitled to, chances are the story he/she/they were using was stolen, too. As readers, as authors, please let's all keep supporting the book-loving community by not tolerating theft of copyrighted works. Sincerely, the real Lelani Black
