In this series of letters, Douglas Wilson counsels fictional husbands and wives on various marriage matters. Drawing on four decades of pastoral experience, Wilson points them to their God-ordained responsibilities to one another and their relationship. Addressing a wide range of topics, he follows Paul’s direction to “warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men” (1 Thess. 5:14). With wisdom and kindness, Wilson strategically applies Scripture to issues including love, respect, confession, bitterness, finances, lust, abuse, false accusations, anger, submission, feminism, and adultery. Couples and counselors alike will benefit from his take on situations from a young husband and wife just starting out to marriages on the brink of divorce. Douglas Wilson has served as the minister of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho, for more than forty years. He is the author of dozens of books on marriage, family, theology, and culture. The Center for Biblical Counseling is a Christ-centered ministry focused on helping the saints learn to walk with God. CBC provides counsel for hurting people and training for Christians who desire to disciple others.

I write in order to make the little voices in my head go away. Thus far it hasn't worked.
