Dawn’s dreams of being a wildlife zoologist in Botswana seem hopelessly out of reach as she passes through the little town of Jewel, California, to rehome a cranky puma. A chance meeting with beautiful innkeeper Penny might just make her believe in magic—but her dreams are halfway across the world, and Penny is rooted to this little town. Under the heat of a midsummer sun, love begins to bloom, but Dawn and Penny will have to decide if this is something that can last.
