Sir Robert Anderson (1841-1918) was converted to Christ at the age of nineteen and almost immediately began to preach in his native Dublin where he trained for a legal profession at Trinity College. In 1888 Anderson became the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department of Scotland Yard. In addition to numerous other honors and pursuits, Anderson was a keen biblical apologist, and he wrote some 17 books in defense of God’s Word.
