She had thought him an incorrigible wastrel, a man deserving of her contempt. Instead, Mary Grant found the new Lord Wyland to be fair, just—and handsome. He offered her everything she wanted to stay on at Wyland Manor to help him put his affairs in order. Then he offered marriage to keep her by his side and Mary instantly accepted. Even though he had never mentioned the word love. Wyland thought he'd married a woman whose virtue and beauty outshone the rest. But was Mary what she seemed—or merely a fortune hunter who was cleverer than most? All he wanted was a woman who wanted him for himself. But did his reticient bride love him? And how could he convince her that theirs was no marriage of convenience, but a match made between two loving hearts?

I have been reading Regency romances since I was in my teens and actually wrote my first one—a truly dreadful effort—when I was about sixteen. But since I chose to pursue an education and career in a different field (automotive technology, with minors in French and business administration), that early effort gathered dust for many years. It wasn't until after the birth of my daughter that I had the time and inclination to take up writing again. I enjoy writing and enjoy even more hearing from readers of my books. I work hard to make my Regencies accurate in period detail as well as entertaining in content.
