Making a Medium
2019
My name is Zoe Lane, and I see dead people.
Well, I see one dead person. Willie MacIntosh, a ninety-something-year-old multi-millionaire, who looks thirty, has a demanding personality, a strong opinion on my wardrobe and my love life, and he wants to know how he died.
The problem is, there were a lot of people who wanted Willie MacIntosh dead, and it's my job to figure out who the killer is. At least, I think it's my job. This whole medium gig is new to me. What I do know for sure is digging around in a dead stranger's life, especially when there's a multi-million dollar inheritance on the line, is a dangerous business.
If I'm not careful, the next dead person will be me.

The Medium Place
2019
My name is Zoe Lane, and I see dead people.
Sure, being a medium isn’t easy. Things like dating, working, and even sleeping are all hard to do when there’s a ghost hovering nearby, demanding your attention. But it’s not all bad, and I’d like to think I’m getting pretty good at it…most days.
Except for today, when twenty-one-year-old Penelope Muffin appeared. She looks like she just stepped off the set of a bad horror movie, and she has no recollection of how she got here. Spirits are supposed to be restored to their prime after they die, and I have no idea what to make of her disheveled state. Frankly, she’s freaking me out, but it’s my job to help her. The problem is, no one knows she’s in trouble but me, and when you go around town talking ghosts and murder, you start to look crazy.
Now the police think I’m the suspect—well, just Sheriff Vance, who doesn’t trust me anyway. I’ve got to find Penelope’s body, her killer, and figure out what happened—and I have to do it fast. Otherwise, I’ll be locked up for a crime I didn’t commit.
It would be a whole lot easier if Penelope would stop obsessing about her Instagram account and help me solve this crime before it’s too late.

Medium Things
2019
My name is Zoe Lane, and I see dead people.
I'm not your typical medium. The kind portrayed on your favorite television shows. The spirits who visit me aren't interested in reuniting with loved ones. Nope. The spirits I connect with have sought me out for one thing and one thing only: justice. A task that would be easier if I were a homicide detective instead of a twenty-three-year-old wannabe journalist with a love of hot romance novels.
Now, the spirit of Andrew "Drew" Foster is here, and he's desperate for my help. Drew was convicted sixteen years ago for the murder of real estate agent, Margo Stolper. A crime I'm not so sure he committed. It turns out Margo may not have been completely honest in her dealings, and even worse, I think she was a medium just like me. Was she killed because people knew about her gift?
With a possible medium murderer on the loose, I need to be extra cautious. But justice must be served, and if Drew wants to rest in peace, then we need to clear his name. The problem is I've made many enemies over the last few months. Well, just one. Sheriff Vance, the most powerful man in Fernn Valley. He's not about to let me unravel the only murder case he's ever solved. Not without a fight. I'm ready, though. At least I thought I was. There's a twist to this case even I didn't see coming.
If I'm not careful, exonerating Drew just might be the last thing I do.

The Marvelous Ms. Medium
2019
My name is Zoe Lane, and I see dead people.
I thought I was getting pretty good at this whole medium gig ... until today. Have you ever been kissing the man of your dreams when his dead ex-girlfriend appears?
No?
I have, and let me tell you it's a total mood killer.
Her name is Vanessa Tobin, and she's a journalist with a passion for truth and justice and self-help books. The last thing she remembers is investigating the disappearance of twenty-year-old Lux Piefer. She was close to solving the case. Too close.
Now we need to find Lux and catch Vanessa's killer. Helping us is my new partner who can see glimpses of the future. You'd think this would be useful, but the thing about the future is it's ever-changing. The more we dig, the more things change, and the more things change, the more we realize that we're not dealing with a missing person case and a homicide. What we've got is a serial killer on our hands with a list of victims that is growing by the minute.
If I survive today, I'm going to need a long ghostless vacation.

The Medium's Tale
2020
My name is Zoe Lane, and I see dead people.
At least...I used to.
Communications with the "other side" are down, and I have no idea why. This couldn't have come at a worst time because the town's pharmacist, Mr. Sanders, has just been murdered. Police have all but closed the case because the evidence overwhelmingly points to one person. Problem is, my medium senses are telling me there's more to the story. I may not know for sure who pulled the trigger, but I do know things aren't lining up and there are plenty of people who wanted the victim dead. Of course, no one is listening to me because I'm the town's resident nut job.
Looks like I'll have to find the killer myself, which would be a heck of a lot easier if my paranormal gifts weren't on the fritz. This has never happened to me before, and thanks to extensive research (fine, I Googled it) I do have a few theories as to what might be going on. And if any of my theories pan out, Mr. Sanders could be the last spirit I ever help.

A Medium Education
2020
My name is Zoe Lane, and I see dead people.
Over the last year, I have confronted criminals, solved murders, saved lives, had multiple brushes with death, looked into the eyes of a serial killer, and stared down the barrel of a gun. I thought I knew stress.
I thought wrong.
In all my life I have never experienced anything as stressful as the pickup zone at Trucker Middle School. There are kids everywhere, people are honking and cursing, and a mom in a minivan just flipped me the bird because I didn’t pull my car up fast enough.
These parents would lay off the horn if they knew what was at stake. I'll bet none of them have a ghost sitting next to them, nor are they in charge of picking up the ghost's still living child. Yet here I am with Dr. Connie Batch. This morning, she blasted into my room, having just been killed by an unidentified man in a mask. She's afraid her husband and son could be next. Now it’s my job to find the killer and protect her family before anyone else dies—including me.
Also, has anyone seen my cat?

The City of Mediums
2021
My name is Zoe Lane, and I see dead people.
Right now, I’m on my way to Los Angeles with my boyfriend and a spirit. The spirit's name is Jose, and he was executed on death row for a murder he didn’t commit. Our mission, once we land, is to find out who the real killer was and make sure justice is served. Though I also plan to visit Hollywood Blvd, try caviar, and look for a (living) celebrity or two because even a medium needs a day off now and then.
Sure, I was nervous about flying for the first time, but as soon as we got up in the air I was fine. And then a new spirit decided to make a mid-flight appearance
His name is Captain Sims, and he’s supposed to be flying the plane we’re currently on!
So, uh, the pilot is dead—probably murdered—and the plane is experiencing an intense amount of turbulence, and…uh…is it normal for the oxygen masks to come down from the ceiling? There’s a lot of little alarms sounding off, and I’m slightly concerned about the smoke coming from the left wing and…oh no, also from the right wing.
I better go.
