Almost losing his life at an early age was enough to make Darrio turn his life around. Witnessing so much pain and loss in the streets, he decided that the only way out was to put his thoughts and feelings into words, and became Pharaoh, one of the hottest rappers of this generation. Accomplishing everything that he has always wanted, Pharaoh was at the top of his game, the only thing that he was missing was love. Tamia “Mia Stackz” has always dreamed of being the best female rapper of all times, but with so many other women fighting for that same position, she never thought that her dream would come true. Winning a radio contest put her in the spotlight and her talent helped her gain the attention she needed to get her foot in the door, but the producers wasn’t the only one that took notice of Mia Stackz. With a record-breaking album, Mia Stackz’s career quickly took off, and with Pharaoh beside her, it was nowhere for either of them to go but to the top. As always, with fame and fortune, comes jealousy and envy. When a video surfaces, and goes viral causing a scandal that puts Mia Stackz’s trust to the test. As the past comes back with a vengeance, a secret will be revealed adding fuel to a fire that neither Mia Stackz or Pharaoh can put out. Can hip hop’s new power couple weather the storm or will they find that their love isn’t strong enough to survive all the drama and chaos that being in the limelight can bring?

I was born and raised in Washington D, C. I’m a mother of one and grandmother to a beautiful little girl. I enjoy reading and writing, relaxing to music, but most of all I love spending time with my family. I worked in the child care field for many years and obtained the education needed to own my own childcare center. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I started writing books as a hobby. But the more I wrote, the more I started to think about becoming a publish author. My family and my friends believed in me and encouraged me to seek a publisher. It took a few more years before I decided to submit a manuscript but I’m so glad I did. I learned so much working with Treasured Publications and I’m more than grateful for the opportunity. The best part of being a published author is connecting with readers and getting their feedback. It only helps me to grow in my craft and I appreciate. My advice to anyone out there with a dream is to never give up and keep striving for success no matter how many people try to discourage you. And always remember through faith and prayer, all things are possible. Thank you for reading my book and getting to know me.
