Life is simple. Cassie is content with what she has, a great job and wonderful friends. Everything is perfect…until Ryder appears. She still has not forgiven him for choosing music over her eight years ago. Ryder is a rock star, living the life he had always dreamed of. He is not searching for love because who has time for that when you're constantly on the road. But then his tour ends and he decides to go back home and visit an old friend. When those old feelings resurface, will they be able to forgive and start anew?

I was born and raised in Oklahoma where I met my husband of 24 years. We have 6 (5 living and 1 in heaven) wonderful children ranging in ages from 14 years to 25 years of age. I listen to a wide range of music: rap, hip hop, alternative, rock, and country, just whatever happens to suit my mood at the moment. Some of my favorite artists include: Radio Company, Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert, Areosmith, Bon Jovi, Kane Brown, Guns N' Roses. I'm also a bookworm, reading anything from christian fiction to paranormal and romance. Favorite books are: House of Night, Vampire Academy, Dirty Deeds. There are a ton more but it would take days to list them all. In my teen years I had a friend who was into writing, she always had a short story in the works. Reading her work inspired me to create stories of my own. It wasn't until I started co-writing with Teresa Fuentez that I actually got serious about my writing.
