Sometimes you need a break from life on the road… But then again, it can be murder. RV traveler and amateur sleuth, Tulia Blake, checks into a hotel in New Orleans, which happens to be hosting a vampire convention. With some time to kill and insatiable curiosity, she decides to attend the convention, thinking it will be fun. Fascination turns to dismay however, when one of the attendees that she had just spoken to is discovered outside the hotel the next day, murdered. Exsanguination, or blood loss, is found to be the cause of death, which is more than a bit alarming when one is staying at a hotel that is hosting a vampire convention. Tulia, Samuel, and a few of the people that she met at the convention start looking into the murder, all the while looking over their shoulders for things that go bump in the night.
