As a police detective, Nicole Arroyo has heard it all. But a potion that renders people crazy with lust? Right. This colorless liquid is just another one of journalist Ethan Ramsey's schemes to get her into bed. With her weakness for sexy men who break women's hearts, there's no way she's giving him a chance. So how can she explain the sizzling urge that leads to the hot encounter with him in the backseat of his car...or the one against her front door...or the one...? Well. For some reason, she now wants Ethan. But a lust potion? It couldn't possibly be real...could it?

So much so that she's abandoned her nightly fantasies in favor of a much steamier reality. But are the fireworks the real deal? Or is this fling the result of the potion? And if the stuff isn't fake, what do they do when the bottle runs dry?

Jamie Sobrato has dreamed of being a writer ever since composing her first bad poetry at the age of 8. Now that she’s seen 18 of her novels published in the US and around the world, she’s grateful for those grade school teachers who had the grace not to cringe at her early efforts. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Jamie now lives in Northern California, where she is at work on her next book. When she’s not writing, she is usually reading, hiking, or hanging out with her two kids.
