When Mary-Jo Young sets out to meet her fiancé, Benjamin Nelson out west, she carries with her several saplings from her father’s Florida farm. Luckily, she also carries a good deal of courage, because she’ll need when she’s in a terrible accident even before she has a chance to meet Ben.
