Nine candidates with nine very different backgrounds and reasons for participating - each of them are vying for one of the elite apprentice seats at Magic University, but only three will succeed. In the next several hours, they will have to prove themselves worthy in the twelve strenuous admission trials that the university has prepared for them. When Reid Blake opened his Renegade magic academy in Anthis, the city neighbouring Magic University, he knew it would cause conflict – but he didn’t realize it would result in an all-out war.
