Him and Xoey was supposed to handle the situation by themselves but got side track when Nyles delivered Nylah to Deniro, the leader of the Geneva Covenant. They rescued her and Maxi realize that the safest place for Nylah was at his side and with some rules. Once he found out what he needed to do, his brothers, Xoey and Nylah traveled with him to each land to support him the best way they could. Maxi fell in love with Nylah with every step of the way. He showed Nylah that he was doing it for her and his family. When everything was said and done, he brought Nylah to a romantic spot to make the final step.
