Part of Series

As autumn approaches the picturesque town of Magnolia Harbor, South Carolina, the owners of the Magnolia Harbor Inn—sisters Grace Porter and Charlotte Wylde—welcome their new guests for a quilting retreat. Brenda Clifton attends the retreat in hopes of reconciling with her cousin Libby Mayweather. But when Libby rejects her efforts, Brenda fears that some broken relationships can never be fixed. Will the grand old mansion help the estranged relatives let go of their former hurts and make amends? Devastated by a tragic loss, Robin McAllister seeks solace in her art as she accompanies her mother to Magnolia Harbor. When Robin experiences a chance encounter, she must decide if she's going to safeguard her heart or embrace life once again. Debbie Milner cheerfully keeps the peace among her quilting friends, but her pleasant demeanor hides a surprising secret. After her plans take an unexpected turn, Debbie is forced to protect her secret or find the courage to confront the truth. The Magnolia Harbor Inn has a special way of healing lives. Will these women find the encouragement during their stay to mend their painful pasts and start anew?

Author · 21 books
DeAnna Julie Dodson has always been an avid reader and a lover of storytelling, whether on the page, the screen or the stage. This, along with her keen interest in history and her Christian faith, shows in her tales of love, forgiveness and triumph over adversity. A fifth-generation Texan, she makes her home north of Dallas with four spoiled cats and, when not writing, spends her free time quilting, cross stitching and watching NHL hockey. Her first books, In Honor Bound, By Love Redeemed and To Grace Surrendered, are a trilogy of medieval romances and have just been redesigned and freshly edited for Kindle. She is also the author of the contemporary mystery, Letters in the Attic, and has recently signed on to write another Annie's Attic Mystery: The Key in the Attic, due out in 2012. Her newest books, yet to be released, are A Dinner of Herbs, a Civil War drama, and a 1930s English mystery, Rules of Murder. Civil as an Orange, her current work in progress, is the sequel to Rules of Murder.
