Even though the holidays are a hectic time of year, there’s nothing better than the feel of Christmas mixed with a bit of sugar. When an unexpected visitor drops by to say hello, my entire world shifts on its axis. Burk Whitman was my best friend until, right before our first year of high school, he unexpectedly moved away.
