Is an award-winning, postwar, Chinese born, Japanese novelist, essayist and playwright. He is well known for his work in the Nansensu (nonsense) genre. A motif of his being the nuclear bomb and its aftermath. He has written over 130 plays since 1961, and in that time has also written books for children, essays, and novels.
