Women are uniquely qualified to be purveyors of horror. Women bear witness not only to the once-in-a-lifetime supernatural events that shake us to our core, but also to the mundane, ever-present terror that exists in normal people and everyday life yet frequently goes unnoticed. These collected stories showcase the many ways women confront horrors of all kinds, often behaving in ways that are unbecoming to society, and displaying their knack for not doing what they’re told along the way. Moods and Megrims is a bundle of stories from 12 female authors that will shock and terrify you with each turn of the page! Featuring stories fraught with demonic possession, bloodthirsty revenge, nightmarish tribulations, and a cornucopia of everlasting scares. Sarah DeRosa
Sarah DeRosa
Author · 5 books
Sarah DeRosa can be found deep within the Michigan forests, where she was raised. Her fascination with horror was ignited by the chilling tales of the Goosebumps series as well as the forbidden thrill of watching the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise at a very impressionable age. When she is not weaving dark tales or delving into the depraved worlds of other writers, she prefers to get lost wandering the haunting wooded trails with her husky, Big Pollo. She has an affinity for indulging in the sinister delight of poutine and loves playing in the rain.
Rikki Goodwin
Rikki Goodwin
Author · 2 books

Rikki Goodwin lives in North Carolina, where she owns a tattoo and piercing studio with her husband. Since she scares people every day as a body piercer, she figures it's only natural to also be a horror author. She's constantly bringing home potentially haunted home decor, but so far there's no ghosts in the house, just two very bad dogs. Lovers' Leap is her debut novel.
