Part of Series

A brand new mountain man adventure from Roy Clinton! The Hole-In-The-Wall hideout didn’t have anything on Fallout. Thieves, murderers, and other desperados lived in the mountain hideout of far west Texas. John Crudder, the Midnight Marauder, tracks the last member of a family of murderers. Elmer Crockett and his two sons, Carl and Earl, have engaged in some of the most heinous crimes with Elmer and Carl ultimately paying the price for their offences. Now Earl is left to continue the family legacy and may be the most despicable of them all. Earl murdered the mother of the Midnight Marauder’s adopted daughter, Gracie. In the shootout that took her mother’s life, Gracie was also wounded. John Crudder knows if he doesn’t bring Earl to justice, the lowlife would likely go free since few other men would be willing to track an outlaw in the mountains. John Crudder is once again accompanied by his friend, Marshal Clem Williams. Their quest takes them back to the Comanche village where they are aided by their friend, Chief Sky-Eagle. John found the Comanches were astute in the way they dealt with scoundrels. The Midnight Marauder is called on to put his skills to use once again, eclipsing every previous adventure. How much longer can John Crudder cheat death? What will happen when he meets one of the cruelest outlaws of the old west? When will enough be enough so that the Midnight Marauder can retire his guns and daggers and let others take up the mantle of balancing the Scales of Justice?
