Sebastian and Basil receive a mysterious invitation to an old-school house party. Horatio, the owner of Victorian manor Beach House has been disturbed by occult and psychic phenomena and they need assistance settling the spirits of the troubled manor.
On arrival, Basil and Sebastian discover they aren’t the only specialists invited to this strange jaunt. A mismatched group of experts including a mage, a skeptic and a pair of so-called demonologists all have their own theories.
The spirits of Beach House thrive on disruption and this group of experts will have trouble working together.

Jamie grew up in Wellington and was a library devotee and constant reader of fiction from a very early age. Their fiction covers Romantic Comedy, Horror, Young Adult, Urban Fantasy and Cosy Mysteries. They’ve had stories published in Baby Teeth horror anthology, Enamel literary magazine and they've self published a number of roleplaying games as well as fiction under a couple of pen names. They live in Auckland, New Zealand, with their partner and a round cat called Mochi. Jamie’s visited Japan three times (another trip is always planned) and would like to move into Tokyo Disneyland.
