There are some new arrivals in the seaside town of Peachtree Point, New Hampshire and some of the residents are unhappy with the situation. Romani have come to work the harvest at Deer Run Orchard and plenty of trouble ensues. The town librarians, Heather and Sylvie, hope to offer a program highlighting the Romani culture, but all is not smooth sailing. Two murders, embezzlement at the orchard’s gift shop, and a third murder puts the town on edge. Will Heather, along with her family and friends and Booker the cat, figure it out before someone else loses their life? Or is murder in the cards?
