As an agent with the Investigative Services Branch of the National Park System, Nate Garrison travels from park to park helping investigate and solve major crimes. Sometimes, doing so leads to long memories on the part of the criminals involved. That means Garrison has to deal with revenge on the part of the criminals as well as the crimes in front of him. That’s what happens at the newest national park, Bitterroots National Park in Idaho. Several murders in the park occupy Garrison’s time and effort. At the same time, he’s being stalked by a hired killer sent by a man he put in prison. Solving the murders alone is a full-time job. Add to that the threat of someone hunting him, and Garrison may have more than he can handle. Will he survive being hunted while he’s working sometimes alone out in the wilderness?
