He wanted a housekeeper, but he hadn’t expected a dragon. Sir Alfric hadn’t met very many dragons, but he was pretty sure that the one in his kitchen was odd. For one thing, she was cooking dinner. Ninnia had more than delicious roast pheasant waiting for Alfric. She also had an adventure for him. Together with his slightly magical cat Jan and his dog Triss, he started on a quest that would change his life, or at least, make it more interesting.
