This book delivers a month’s worth of meditations on God’s character and attributes so that you will grow in both knowledge of and love for the Rock of your salvation by the Spirit’s grace. While there are many devotionals in the marketplace offering guidance into the treasures of God’s Word, None Else specifically reflects on God’s manifold perfections as a means through which He—by His Spirit—graciously transforms our minds, changes our hearts, and molds us into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. - God Is Glorious Authors Joel R. Beeke is president of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary and a pastor of the Heritage Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Brian Cosby serves as senior minister of Wayside Presbyterian Church (PCA) on Signal Mountain, Tennessee, and visiting professor of church history and pastoral theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, Atlanta. Endorsements “The first question we ask when reading Scripture should not be, What can the Bible do for me? The better question is, What does the Bible teach me about God? Knowing God is the key to spiritual progress, and Joel Beeke and Brian Cosby have written a masterful book designed to help us grow. Whether for personal devotion or group Bible study, None Else will prove an outstanding introduction to the character of God. For some, this book will be revolutionary—releasing them from the cycle of self-centered obsession to God-glorifying worship.” — Derek W. H. Thomas, Robert Strong Professor of Systematic and Pastoral Theology, Reformed Theological Seminary, Atlanta, and senior minister, First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, South Carolina “In None Else, Joel Beeke and Brian Cosby offer the disciple of the Lord an opportunity to practice what too many believers have meditation on the character of God. Leading us through God’s attributes with careful biblical exegesis combined with experienced pastoral sensitivities, the authors employ a fivefold method of unfolding the biblical and practical beauty of the Lord in His self-revealed attributes. The end result is a devotional journey into a daily life of meditation on God Himself that leaves the reader transformed by the glory of the Lord. Take and read! Take and meditate! Your mind and heart will be the better for it!” — Michael A. Milton, president, Faith for Living, and author of over twenty books, including Songs in the Night and Small Things, Big Things “In this book, None Else, Joel Beeke and Brian Cosby come alongside readers and gently introduce them to the character of God. Written in a meditation format, this work is based on Scripture. At the beginning of each meditation, the authors suggest a Scripture reading and a prayer. After the Bible-based meditation, they continue to invite the reader to participate with questions for personal reflection and a ‘Digging Deeper’ section. I highly recommend this work. I believe it will encourage, inspire, teach, and offer hope for all those who read it.” — Denise George, speaker, teacher, and author of thirty books, including Come to the Quiet and Planting Trust, Knowing Peace
