Kael takes pride in being a great beta for the Strongblood Pack. More at ease with humans than most shifters, he works to forge connections with that species in anticipation of a time when shifters become known to the rest of the world. His lack of a mate does not bother him, yet he wonders of somewhere out in the world is his fated one. He wants a strong bond with another shifter like his alpha has, but his beta brain is skeptical that there is someone destined for him alone. His beliefs are shattered in an instant when he comes face-to-face with a male omega that his wolf recognizes as the one fated to be his. What he cannot fathom is why the omega lives among humans. Wyatt has been raised in both love and isolation by a human couple that saved his life when he was an infant. He knows he is different, and although he does not understand why he turns into a wolf, he hides his true nature when he is among humans outside of his parents’ fierce protection. His fate takes an unexpected turn when he runs into a large man whom he recognizes as being just like him. Here lie the answers to all of his questions—if he can only find the guy again. There is no question that Kael will bring Wyatt back into the pack where he belongs. His strange history notwithstanding, the boy is a shifter and more, an omega who is close to going into his first heat. Kael and his wolf know exactly what to do. The only impediment is Wyatt himself. Because he has been raised as a human, accepting his role as an omega and his fate to bear pups is almost more than Wyatt can fathom. It will take patience and strength for Kael to bring him truly home.

Samantha Cayto is a Boston-area native who practices as a business lawyer by day while writing erotic romance at night—the steamier the better. She likes to push the envelope when it comes to writing about passion and is delighted other women agree that guy-on-guy sex is the hottest ever. She lives a typical suburban life with her husband, three kids and four dogs. Her children don’t understand why they can’t read what she writes, but her husband is always willing to lend her a hand—and anything else—when she needs to choreograph a scene. She is a member of the Romance Writers of America and the New England Chapter and credits RWA, NEC and the wonderful friends she’s made there with helping her become a published author.
