With my mind back intact, danger is approaching from every direction. I’m not sure how much longer we can outrun it. Xavier, Uri, and my father are chasing us through veils while Darce tries to train me with my light power. Will we be able to hold on to each other this time? How can there be peace in a veil fuelled by hate? Afterlight is saturated with an ancient evil. I’m not sure if our combined powers will be enough to destroy it. It doesn’t matter how much Darce believes in me, I’m not strong enough, I can feel it. I might have a destiny, but I fear saving Afterlight will cost the one thing I am not willing to sacrifice.
