Thoroughly revised and updated, the fourth edition of this classic text is still the most comprehensive and readable text available. Covering all aspects of the electoral process from historical roots to election year 2004, the authors bring life to parties long declared dead and first-hand experience running for office to the sometimes grueling campaign trail.
