Momma Peach is happy being back home in her bakery. After solving a dangerous mystery in Arizona and nearly escaping death, she feels just peachy simply baking her famous peach pies; along with some other delicious wonders. But when an old friend from her past arrives unexpectedly, Momma Peach feels the air turn sour. Her old friend, as it turns out, is nothing more than a con man who is on the run from a very dangerous man. The con man decides to latch onto Momma Peach for a bit until he can figure out what to do, driving Momma Peach absolutely crazy. Momma Peach isn't without a heart, however, and decides to try and help her old friend, only to find herself becoming deeply entangled in a deadly mystery that soon forces her to step out of the shadows and take control of the situation. Of course, Momma Peach's dearest friend, Detective Michelle Chan, latches onto the case and stands beside Momma Peach, getting into a fight with two deadly men and an angry truck driver along the way. And what would a mystery be without Momma Peach trying to ride an old ten-speed bike and a nerdy love interest appearing on a rainy day? Will Momma Peach survive a con man who is intent on betraying her while fighting a deadly man who is set on killing anyone who stands in his way? Will she live to bake more peach pies and hum sweet songs or finally take a nose dive into a deep bag of flour?
